Institute of Health Studies & Rehabilitation

The Institute of Health Studies and Rehabilitation a has come into existence in 2009 to serve as Centre of Excellence as envisaged by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Government of India. This Institute is working under the control of the organisation Society for Welfare of the Handicapped Persons.

In fact, the Society for Welfare of the Handicapped Persons, a non-profit philanthropic organization has been working in India since 1981 towards elimination of leprosy. This is an organisation recognised as Research & Development Organisation (SIRO) by the Ministry of Science & Technology on behalf of Government of India. The Institute's fundamental activity is to undertake research, education and training in homoeopathic system of medicine for prevention of disability. We work to not be blindly influenced by precedent, but rather proactively seek out alternative solutions to the world's health problems.
